The rally began at main town and proceeded to DC\u2019s office complex, where a short programme was held. Hiazu Meru, Deputy Commissioner of Noklak at the programme, enlightened the youth about how India gain its Independence from Great Britain in 1947. The DC also advised the Youth to give their best for the country. Later, the occasion was accompanied by plantation drive along the roadsides of town.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>All-party meets for Nagaland United Government<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>An all-party meeting was held on August 11 at the residential office of chief minister Neiphiu Rio along with the legislators from NDPP, BJP and NPF and two Independents MLAs with a decision to form an all-party government under the nomenclature of Nagaland United Government. As per report, the adaptation for an opposition-less government was proposed on Naga political issue. The parties also shared a memorandum for final consent. Sources said that the party\u2019s union leadership might give its affirmation to the new political arrangement without disturbing the present administration. Hopefully, it will be for the second time in Nagaland to witness an all-party government.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Temsuyangba Ao receives Union Home Minister\u2019s Medal for Excellence in Investigation award<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Temsuyangba Ao, UB Sub-Inspector, of Nagaland Police received the Union Home Minister\u2019s Medal for Excellence in Investigation for the year 2021 along with other police personnel. Ministry of Home Affairs, on August 12 informed that this medal was laid down in 2018, to promote high professional standards of investigation of crime and to recognize such Excellence in Investigation by investigating officers.
