From ‘Thanda matlab Coca-Cola’ to ‘Say it with Coke’, not just the tagline of the soda drink, Coca-Cola, changed over the years, but also, the contours of its famous bottle evolved in these years. From a large cylindrical glass bottle to a classy small glass bottle, in 122 years, the contours of the Coca-Cola bottle went through several changes. And, now it’s time to dig the past and go through the history of Coca-Cola bottles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 1899, two lawers, Joseph Whitehead and Benjamin Thomas went all the way to Atlanta to fight for the rights to bottle Coca-Cola. Finally, they made it and got the rights, the bottle started selling out around the world, and it was in the large cylindrical shape glass bottle. This style of the bottle for Coca-Cola was used from 1899-1902.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After this, in 1900, the contour bottle made its way and it also had a vintage logo of Coca-Cola on it. This style of the bottle for Coca-Cola was in the market for 16 years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Later, in 1915, a new bottle came into the market in which the mid-portion had a huge curve and the ending surface had a tiny curve. This type of style worked for several years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After this, in 1957, the OG contour glass bottle was in the market, and it was the recognisable bottle for Coca-Cola. This bottle had a logo of Coca-Cola in the middle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Later, in 1961, 1991, the same contour bottle design was tweaked a little and it is still being sold in some parts of the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
