Panjshir Valley is the last Afghan province that is holding out against the Taliban forces. The Afghan resistance forces are resisting the Taliban. Earlier, it was reported that the Taliban entered Panjshir valley and has claimed the region. However, Afghanistan vice-president Amrullah Saleh denied the claim and said that they are in a difficult position but they will not surrender and will stand for Afghanistan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Earlier, the Taliban claimed that they took full control of Afghanistan by capturing the country. But later the claims were denied by the resistance forces. According to reports, the fight is going on between the Taliban and resistance forces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Northern Alliance Spokesperson Fahim Dashti said that at least a thousand Taliban were trapped because of the roadblock, and it was also reported that the attackers who were trying to flee were either killed, captured by locals or were surrendered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The National Front of Afghanistan is being led by Ahmad Massoud, the son of late ex-Afghan guerrilla commander Ahmad Shah Massoud and the vice-president of Afghanistan, Amrullah Saleh.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
