England openers Rory Burns and Haseeb Hameed got off to a solid start as England got to 77 for no loss at stumps on Day 4 of the 4th Test at Oval in London while chasing a mammoth 368-run target against India.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

India need 10 wickets on the final day while England is still 291 runs away from victory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hameed remained unbeaten on 43 while Burns scored 31 to help England go unscathed by the end of day 4.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Crucial half-centuries from Shardul Thakur and Rishabh Pant and a brilliant hundred from Rohit Sharma helped India post a massive total of 466 runs in the 2nd innings of the 4th Test. Umesh Yadav and Jasprit Bumrah also played cameos of 25 and 24 as India posted a score of 466 in the second innings, extending the lead to 367.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After a dominating show from Rohit Sharma and Cheteshwar Pujara on Day 3, skipper Virat Kohli had a huge responsibility on Day 4 to continue India\u2019s fightback in this crucial 4th test match.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, England strike back with two quick wickets in the morning session of Day 4. Chris Woakes picked up the wickets of Ravindra Jadeja (17) and Ajinkya Rahane (0) to lead England\u2019s fight against India in the fourth Test at Oval.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Indian vice-captain Anjikya Rahane had once again missed the chance of escalating his poor average of 15.57 after he was dismissed for a duck on a batting-friendly surface during India\u2019s second innings against England at Oval.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

India may have the upper hand on the final day of the 4th test match but being relaxed can be dangerous for India.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the final day, England is still 291 runs away from the target and achieving this score on the fifth day will not be easy. For this, England will have to score more than 3 runs per over which is a challenging task on the 5th day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
