Raut said on Saturday that, farmers are not happy with the current government and they are ready to support his party. He also confirmed that Shivsena will not contest on all seats but 100 seats out of 403 seats in UP and 20 seats out of 40 seats in Goa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After the 2019 Maharashtra assembly polls the Shiv Sena broke its long-term alignment with BJP over the issue of the Chief Minister post and later shook hands with NCP and Congress to form their government in the state, appointing Uddhav Thackeray.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">This is BJP&#39;s internal matter (Gujarat CM&#39;s resignation). We&#39;ll contest the elections in Uttar Pradesh on around 100 seats (total 403 seats), which will take place next year. In the 2017 assembly elections AIMIM contested on 50 seats but didn&#8217;t win a single seat. Akhilesh Yadav the ex-chief minister of UP allegedly said that Owaisi and his party are the &#8220;B&#8221; team of BJP.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When asked about the sudden resignation of Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani, Raut said that, he has known Rupani since he was a Rajya Sabha member with him but this is their personal matter and he doesn&#8217;t intend to comment on it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Rupani resigned from his post on Saturday. His resignation comes a year before the assembly elections in Gujarat. He took charge as the Chief Minister of Gujarat on 7 August 2016. He is currently an MLA from Gujarat&#8217;s Rajkot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Later on Sunday, Bhupendra Patel was announced as the new Chief Minister of Gujarat. Patel is an MLA from Ghatlodia in Gujarat.
