With this win, Medvedev also shattered the Djokovic\u2019s dream to win the Grand Slam and his 21<sup>st<\/sup> Grand Slam title, which would have make him the only player to have 21 Grand Slam title in Men\u2019s tennis putting ahead of Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Russian Medvedev thrashed Serbian Djokovic in straight sets by 6-4, 6-4, 6-4, which denied Djokovic the chance to win all Slam titles in a year. This is Medvedev\u2019s first Grand Slam title in his career. Australian legend Laver was also in the stands to watch the game. This year\u2019s Slam tournaments are over and Djokovic missed the chance to go ahead of Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal to have most no. of Grand Slam titles. His wife Daria was also in the strands to witness him clinching the title.
