{"id":17639,"date":"2017-05-25T16:26:19","date_gmt":"2017-05-25T10:56:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/apnlive.com\/?p=17639"},"modified":"2017-12-28T16:05:36","modified_gmt":"2017-12-28T10:35:36","slug":"babri-masjid-case-advani-joshi-uma-ordered-appear-court-may-30","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/apnlive.com\/india-news\/babri-masjid-case-advani-joshi-uma-ordered-appear-court-may-30\/","title":{"rendered":"Babri Masjid case: Advani, Joshi, Uma ordered to appear in court on May 30"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]<strong>Earlier, the court had ordered the leaders to be present at the hearing on May 26 when charges are framed against them.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A special CBI court on Thursday asked senior BJP leaders LK Advani, Murli Manohar Joshi and Uma Bharati to appear before it on May 30 as the court is hearing the Babri Masjid demolition case.<\/p>\n<p>The order came when Shiv Sena leader Satish Pradhan was present in the court when CBI judge took the case for hearing. The court asked other accused to make sure that other leaders be present in the court while framing charges against them. Any exemption from appearing before it will not be granted, added the special CBI judge.<\/p>\n<p>The day-to-day hearings in the case, in which the Supreme Court had ordered to include conspiracy charges against Advani, Joshi and Bharati began last week. The hearing is looking to whether they had conspired to destroy the structure in Ayodhya on December 6, 1992.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, the court had ordered the leaders to be present at the hearing on May 26 when charges are to be framed against them. But it\u2019s most likely that the court will charge them on May 30 only.<\/p>\n<p>The Supreme Court last month had restored conspiracy charges against the leaders which had been dropped by a CBI court in 2011. The Allahabad High Court had upheld the order in 2010 which forced CBI to approach the top court. The special court also transferred the case from Raebareli to Lucknow.<\/p>\n<p>The case saw the registering of 2 FIRs, the second being naming Advani, Joshi and 13 others for inciting the mob through their allegedly hate speeches.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Earlier, the court had ordered the leaders to be present at the hearing on May 26 when charges are framed against them.
