Tamil actor Samantha Ruth Prabhu has announced separation from Telugu star Naga Chaitanya on October 2 after 4 years of marriage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
After months of rumours and speculations, Samantha confirmed the separation on her Instagram handle and shared a note.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The note shared by Samantha read, \u201cTo all our well-wishers. After much deliberation and thought Chay and I have decided to part ways as husband and wife to pursue our own paths. We are fortunate to have a friendship of over a decade that was the very core of our relationship which we believe will always hold a special bond between us. We request our fans, well-wishers and the media to support us during this difficult time and give us the privacy we need to move on. Thanking you for your support.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The now-separated couple started dating in 2013 while shooting for the film Autonagar Surya. They got hitched in Goa in 2017. Rumours around the trouble in their relationship began when Samantha removed her surname from her Twitter handle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Earlier, in an interview with Film Companion, she had said, “The thing is, even with trolling for The Family Man or this, I don’t react to them. That is how I have always been. I don’t react to this kind of noise and I don’t intend on doing so as well.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
