In a footage caught on CCTV, Sunil Jaiswal, the businessman is seen struggling as the assailants try to snatch a bag away from him. Both his wife and son, who rush out of their home to help him, are shot at close range.<\/p>\n<p>According to reports, all the three victims died on the spot.<\/p>\n<p>Jaiswal, who was parking his bike near his house in Civil Lines around 9.30 pm, was attacked by four men in two bikes. He was shot after a tussle with the assailants and his wife was shot later as she tried to help him. The son was shot as he tried to run away from the attackers.<\/p>\n<p>A neighbor, who interfered to help Jaiswal, was also shot but somehow survived and called the police.<\/p>\n<p>Police reportedly suspect the incident to be a case of robbery and failed to arrest anyone so far. &#8220;The people seemed to be resisting a robbery attempt,&#8221; Additional Director General of Police, Abhay Kumar Prasad told <em>NDTV. <\/em><\/p>\n<p>The city\u2019s trader association has announced a day-long shutdown.<\/p>\n<p>Allahabad had witnessed a similar incident a week ago when a 36-year-old businessman was shot dead.<\/p>\n<p>In a shocking incident last month, a man was shot dead and four women of house were allegedly gang raped at gunpoint on the highway near Jewar.<\/p>\n<p>Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, who frequently puts state\u2019s law and order maintenance as his top priority, has acknowledged the rise in violence in the state and termed them \u201cunfortunate\u201d.
