A bizarre robbery at the official residence of a deputy collector in Madhya Pradesh\u2019s Dewas has left people cracking up. The robbers, after stealing some money and jewellery from the residence, left a note for the Deputy Collector saying if he had no money, he should not have locked the house.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The robbers broke into the house of the deputy collector Trilochan Gaur in the civil lines area of Dewas, which is just 2.5 hours away from the state capital. The robbers managed to take around Rs 30,000 in cash and some jewellery but they as well left a note for Trilocahn Gaur. In the note, the burglars wrote in Hindi “jab paise nahi nahi they toh lock nahi karna tha na collector,” (if you had no money, you should not have locked the house.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The police said that the robbery seemed like a challenge as the officer’s house is located between the bungalows of SDM Pradeep Soni and is just 100-metre away from the residence of the Superintendent of Police.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is reported that Troclochan, the deputy collector at whose place the robbery took place was not at his residence for the last 15-20 days. He reported about the incident when he came back to his place and found his belongings were scattered in the house and some cash and jewellery were also missing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Inspector Umrao Singh reported that around Rs 30,000 cash and some jewellery was stolen from deputy collector’s place. Trilochan Gaur is currently posted as the SDM of Khategaon. It was reported that the time of the incident is not known yet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As soon as the picture of the note that the robbers left at Trilochan’s house started circulating on the internet. Tweeple said that this was a failed money heist attempt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Another user wrote that ye toh bhot jyada beijjati hai (this is a huge insult).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
