A yet another horrifying incident took place in Uttar Pradesh’s Greater Noida. A 55-year-old woman was abducted and gang-raped by four men in a forested area that lies under the jurisdiction of Jewar police station in Greater Noida.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is reported that the man was known of the woman and belonged from her village and used to graze cattle in the same field. The police are trying to identify the other three men involved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

DCP Vrinda Shukla reported that the incident took place at 10 AM in the morning when the woman was out, cutting field grass. Later, she was spotted by a group of men, who came to take their animals out for grazing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The man was identified as Mahendra and the police said that he is a drug addict. It is reported that the four men abducted the 55-year-old to the forest area and then raped her. After that, they fled from the spot and the woman was left bleeding and she also fell unconscious.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The woman was later informed about the incident to her family and then she was admitted to a district hospital, where she underwent surgery. It is reported that there was excessive bleeding from her private parts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The police said that the women’s condition was critical but now she is out of danger. She is being treated at the district hospital of Noida.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The police have registered a case under relevant sections of the IPC and a manhunt has also been launched for the four accused. A team has also been formed to investigate the case and nab the four men.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Earlier, a woman in Azamgarh consumed a poisonous substance in front of a police station on Saturday as the police were not taking any action in her case. Later, the SHO was suspended for neglecting the woman’s case.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
