Hitting back at Singh, Owaisi said the BJP will soon declare Vinayak Damodar Savarkar as the father of the nation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Speaking with the ANI reporters, Owaisi said that the BJP is presenting distorted history. It was said that he filed mercy petitions before the British government seeking his release from jail.
