Bollywood actor-producer Abhay Deol is all set to collaborate with Oscar-winning star Leonardo DiCaprio for a sports biopic. Yes, you heard it right.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The biopic will be based on the life of legendary featherweight boxer Guglielmo Papaleo fondly known as Willie Pep. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Abhay Deol collaborates with Leonardo DiCaprio<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
The film will be helmed by Robert Kolodny. As per a report by Variety, the Titanic fame will co-produce the biopic under his production Appian Way. Moreover, Leonardo will be teaming up with Singapore’s Golden Ratio Films and Deol’s Canada-based production Blisspoint Entertainment, a company formed 2 years ago. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Biopic’s cast<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
Talking about the cast of the biopic, it has been reported that James Madio will portray the role of Willie Pep. The actor had appeared in the 2001 miniseries Band Of Brothers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Apart from James, the film will also feature Keir Gilchrist who will play the role of Pep’s son Billy Jr and Ron Livingston will play the role of the boxer’s business manager Bob Kaplan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 1940, Pep began his professional boxing career. In the span of 26-year of his career, Pep had a total of 1,956 boxing rounds in the 241 bouts. As per reports, he is ranked as the 31st greatest pound-for-pound fighter of all time by BoxRec.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Meanwhile, Abhay Deol made her relationship Instagram official with his lady love Shilo Shiv Suleman. In the picture shared on social media, Abhay can be seen placing a kiss on Shilo\u2019s cheek.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
