PM through his official Tweeter handle said, he is saddened to know that some people have lost their lives due to heavy rains and landslides in Kerala. He offered condolences to the family of deads.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While speaking with CM Vijayan, he said, Armed forces and all the authorities are working on the ground to provide full assistance to the injured people. He also prayed for everyone\u2019s safety and well-being.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">It is saddening that some people have lost their lives due to heavy rains and landslides in Kerala. Meanwhile, the state government urged people to avoid stepping out of their homes till the situation gets under control.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the reports, at least 21 people lost their lives to due massive landslides and rain in the state. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) predicted that the situation is likely to get better from Sunday onwards. They said the intensity of rain is likely to go down in the state from today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>IMD senior scientist Naresh Kumar on Sunday said the state might face a maximum of 6-7 cm rain on Sunday which is less as Saturday\u2019s rainfall.
