Eid Milas-un-Nabi marks the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad and is celebrated among Muslims across the world every year. As per the Islam beliefs, the Prophet was born in Mecca on the 12th of Rabee-ul-Awwal in 570 CE.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The celebrations of the festival started from the evening of October 18 and will continue till today, October 19.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the Holy occasion, Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended his warm greetings to the nation on Eid and wished for peace and prosperity all around. India’s President Ram Nath Kovind also wished the citizens and tweeted that people should take inspiration from the life and ideals of Prophet Muhammad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
