In an interview in 2008, Arora reacted to one of the comments which were made by Rakhi Sawant in which she said Malaika had never been called an item girl because of her connection with Bollywood actor Salman Khan and she was the wife of Arbaz Khan as well. On that Arora replied and said, Malaika is not called an \u2018item girl because of her connection to Salman. Few believed that being a member of the Khan family and sister-in-law to the Salman Khan, they gave her the opportunity to set feet in Bollywood.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Chal Chaiyya Chaiyya fame beauty said that she was upset with the Khan family for not supporting Arbaaz’s career. She said his family did what for him? Get him a good role, launch a good movie for him, or spoon-feed him. The brothers share a very close bond but they can’t take the career decisions on his behalf, Malaika said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
