Recently, the governing body of IPL added two new IPL teams after its successful bidding in Dubai on October 25. The home cities for new teams will be Ahmedabad and Lucknow, however, names for the new teams have not been announced yet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Before the new season of IPL 2022 will start, there will be a mega auction, where teams will be allowed to retain a maximum of only four players &#8211; two Indian and two foreign players or, three Indian and one foreign player &#8211; into their squad and rest of the players will come into mega auction. which is scheduled to take place in the first week of January, 2022. Recently, the star opener followed Mumbai Indians on Instagram, while on Saturday, five-times champion IPL franchise Mumbai Indians shared a photo on their Twitter handle and appreciated the batsman.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Earlier, KL Rahul has played for SunRisers Hyderabad in 2014-15 season and Royal Challengers Bangalore for 2018-21 season.
