Cancer is one of the deadliest diseases in India and across the world today. As per a study from World Health Organization (WHO), a total of 1.6 million cases were registered in India and approx 7,84,800 deaths were caused by cancer in 2018 in India.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To raise awareness about Cancer, National cancer Awareness day is celebrated. This also marks the birth anniversary of Nobel prize winner and noted scientist Madame Curie. Born in 1867 in Poland Madame discovered radium and polonium. She also developed nuclear energy radiotherapy that helps in the treatment of Cancer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To aware about this deadly disease, even Bollywood has made some films based on Cancer.
