It is also reported that the government is bringing this new bill as they want to ensure that cryptocurrencies do not end up in the wrong hands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What is &#8216;The Cryptocurrency and Regulation of Official Digital Currency Bill, 2021\u2019?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>This bill is being brought to create a facilitative framework for the creation of the official digital currency to be issued by the Reserve Bank of India. The bill also seeks to prohibit all private cryptocurrencies in India.
