A man who was declared dead by doctors and was found alive after being kept in a mortuary for seven hours in Uttar Pradesh’s Moradabad has now been found dead for real. The 40-year-old man was identified as Srikesh Kumar, he was kept in the mortuary freezer for over seven hours after being presumed dead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He was later found alive and was shifted to Lala Lajpat Rai Memorial (LLRM) medical college. According to reports, he slipped into a coma and was on ventilator support as doctors kept him under observation and conservative treatment by using medicines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr Shiv Singh, CMS, Moradabad District Hospital said that the man who was allegedly declared dead and taken out alive from a mortuary freezer later died after undergoing treatment at a hospital in Meerut for 4 days. Dr Shiv said that the man died on Tuesday evening. Currently, the health department is probing the matter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 40-year-old man’s brother Satyanand Gautam told reporters that his brother fought for his life but lost the battle after five days. He wanted to live. He showed signs of recovery as he used to respond whenever they called his name. His vitals were normal. However, he had a clot in his brain. He further said that they will take action against everyone responsible for his death.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Earlier, when the man was found alive in the mortuary, chief medical superintendent, Dr Shiv Singh, said that it could be a case of suspended animation, in which, there is a temporary cessation of many vital organs without death, which could lead to extraordinary situations such as this.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
