The 15th day of the Winter Session of Parliament was held at 11 am on Friday, December 17. Both Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha continued to protest demanding the resignation of the minister of state for home, Ajay Misra Teni and protesting against the suspension of the 12 MPs respectively.

Rajya Sabha Chairman Venkaiah Naidu urged the members to arrive at a decision so that the House can function peacefully. He adjourned the Rajya Sabha till Monday.

Meanwhile, Lok Sabha proceedings were adjourned from 11:35 am till 2 pm. The opposition parties in the Lok Sabha have been seeking discussion for the Lakhimpur Kheri violence during the farmer’s protest on October 3. The members are demanding the removal of Ajay Mishra’s son Ashish Mishra.

This time the opposition has adopted a new way of protesting and sloganeering. The leaders are holding Jan Sansad and have used Prime Minister Narendra’s Modi face stickers with a placard that read Parliament? Not needed for me. They also spread across empty chairs with placards on them.
