Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the nation on the occasion of Christmas. In his address, he made an announcement in which he said that the vaccination drive for children aged 15-18 will start getting inoculated from January 3, 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Apart from this, Prime Minister Narendra Modi also said that healthcare and frontline workers will be provided with a booster dose of the Covid-19 vaccine from January 10, and also in addition those who are aged 60 and above with comorbidities will also be given a precaution dose.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
PM Modi also said that as the cases of Omicron are surging, people need to be more careful by following all the covid-19 protocols. He further said that the overall experience of fighting the global epidemic so far suggests that by following all the guidelines at the individual level is a great weapon to compete with corona. And the second weapon is vaccination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He further hailed the healthcare, frontline workers, and citizens, PM Modi said that India started administering vaccines to its citizens on January 16 this year.
