Due to the surge in Omicron cases, the Delhi government has imposed a night curfew from 11 PM to 5 AM. The curfew will begin tonight, December 27, 2021. Recently, on Sunday, 290 coronavirus cases were recorded, after which the Delhi Disaster Management Authority released a notice in which it was mentioned that the night curfew will be imposed from tonight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Who all will be exempted from the night curfew restrictions in Delhi?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Pregnant women, patients, people who are out to buy essential items, and those travelling to or from the airport, ISBT, and railway stations will be exempted from the night curfew that will begin from the night of December 27.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Moreover, those who will be exempted from curfew will include government officials, those involved in emergency services, medical personnel, media persons, and other people who come in the frontline category.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The restrictions in Delhi will be imposed according to the alerts. Like if there is a yellow alert in Delhi then there will be a night curfew, closure of schools and colleges, shops of non-essential items, and there will be restrictions in seating capacity too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What will happen if there is Red alert in Delhi?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

If there is a red alert in Delhi then there will be total lockdown. Shops and establishments of non-essential goods and services and malls will be allowed to open between 10 AM and 8 PM based on the odd-even formula.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Restaurants will open with a seating capacity of 50 per cent from 8 AM to 10 PM. Bars will remain open but the timings will be from 12 am to 10 pm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Apart from this, cinema halls, banquet halls, spas, gyms, outdoor yoga activities, amusement parks, stadiums, swimming pools, schools and colleges will not be allowed, if there is a yellow or red alert in Delhi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
