A day after a Dalit woman was gang-raped and found dead in Bihar’s Vaishali, another rape incident from Noida came to light on Wednesday, December 29 wherein a Noida woman who sought legal advice was gang-raped by the advocate and 3 of his aides.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The incident took place in October this year following which a case was filed at Ballabgarh police station under Indian Penal Code Section 376D and was transferred from Ballabhgarh to Haryana. The report further stated that the woman’s husband was booked by the Noida Police and arrested in connection with a case.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As per a report in the Times of India, the woman needed legal help in order to get bail granted for her husband. The accused had allegedly called her to his office in Noida and he and his aides took turns to gang-rape her. They had also shot the video of the crime.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The accused have been identified as Vikas, Mahesh, and Devendra.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On Tuesday, December 28 a 20-year-old Dalit woman in Bihar’s Vaishali was found dead in a canal after she was raped by five upper-classmen. The victim was abducted on December 20 following which her mother sought help from the Panchayat. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
They assured her help and advised her to file an FIR against the incident. However, the woman’s dead body was recovered from a village canal days after she was kidnapped.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In another incident, a 14-year-old girl was gang-raped in Gujarat’s Dang district. The police had arrested 6 men and also detained 3 minors involved in the gang rape. The incident came to light after a relative of the victim saw a video of the crime on social media platforms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
