Recently, IIT Madras made an announcement in which they said that they are going to launch a new Master program in Electric Vehicles (EV). It will be a dual interdisciplinary degree (IDDD) that will be offered to Btech students. Students can enroll in this master&#8217;s program from January 2022, even if they are in their third year of Btech. The dual degree students can also enroll in this course.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What skill set will be provided in this course?   <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The students who will opt for this course will have those skill sets that are necessary to pursue jobs in the fields such as EV Product Development including EV Integration, Vehicle Aggregate Engineering, Communication and Calibration, Verification and Validation, and Product and Portfolio Planning. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Who will provide the course?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Eight departments of IIT will be collaborating in this course to provide Electrical Vehicle (EV) learning. It includes the basic knowledge of Electric Vehicles to a specific EV aggregate, including batteries and motors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Master&#8217;s course of IIT Madras in Electric Vehicles(EV) will be going to deliver as a joint effort from various departments.
