There has been a major surge in coronavirus cases in recent days and the states have been putting restrictions to curb the spread of the deadly virus. However, there are elections in the five states and the political parties are going ahead with their rallies amidst surge in cases. Recently, a reporter asked Delhi Health Minister that why are they not considering holding virtual rallies to curb the spread of the virus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To which, Dr Satyendar Jain gave a befitting reply and said that their party has been putting up restrictions in Delhi due to the current situation but when it comes to elections, they will hold rallies as they are contesting elections.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He further said, ‘Hum ab election na lade kya ab ( should we not contest elections now.)’<\/p>\n\n\n\n
