India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi had started adolescent’ Covid-19 vaccination drive from January 3, 2022. According to health officials, more than 1 crore adolescents have got their first jab for Covid-19. This is the latest update from the government since the drive has been launched in India.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What are the top states who administered the most Covid-19 teenager’s jabs in India?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

There are five top states in India who had been administered the most Covid-19 vaccination of adolescents. These states are Madhya Pradesh which stands at first place. About 16,52,309 vaccination of 15-17 years old children have been administered in the state. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then, Gujarat stands at second place in Covid-19 vaccination for children aged between 15-17 years at 13,63,147. Andhra Pradesh stand at third place as it has administered 13,02,027 jabs. While, Rajasthan is the fourth top most state, administering 11,82,158 adolescents vaccination in India. Karnataka had administered 11,21,569 Covid-19 jabs for children maintaining its position at fifth place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How many teenagers have been vaccinated in India?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

As per the official statements, 40,80,263 teenagers have been vaccinated with their first dose of Covid-19 in the last 24 hours. The overall coverage of Covid-19 vaccination of teenagers in India has reached up to 1, 27,60,148.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What is said by Union Health Minister for this vaccination drive?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This huge achievement was also appreciated by the Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya. He tweeted on Wednesday for the same. In his tweet he said that there is superb enthusiasm amongst youngsters for the vaccination drive. About 1 crore youngsters have been vaccinated for Covid-19 and that too at the third day of the vaccinations drive. He appealed all the youngster to their first dose of vaccination for Covid-19.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
