Given the spike in coronavirus cases and new variant Omicron, state governments are taking precautionary measures to restrain the spread of the contagious virus. Delhi government on Tuesday, January 11 has rolled out revised guidelines that need to be followed strictly in the state.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has launched an initiative for Covid-19 patients who are in home isolation. Under the initiative, online yoga and meditation classes will be provided to patients from January 12.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Announcing the initiative, Kejriwal said that as yoga boosts immunity special yoga\/pranayam classes will be conducted by the Delhi government for Covid-19 patients who are in home isolation. The classes will commence for long hours in both morning and evening.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Each batch will consist of 15 patients wherein everyone will be allowed to interact with their instructor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Covid-19 in Delhi<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Delhi on Monday, January 11 registered a total of 19,166 Covid-19 positive cases. The national capital reported 17 deaths and the death toll, within the first 10 days of the year, stands at 70.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Meanwhile, the Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) on Tuesday, January 11 has directed all private offices to opt for work from home except those which are falling in the exempted category. The private and government offices are working with 50 percent capacity. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Covid-19 in India<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>India reported 1,68,063 new Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours.
