Delhi government’s health minister Satyendar Jain on Wednesday said that the Covid cases have been in control in the national capital. He said that the government might consider lifting the restrictions as the infections are going to be very soon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Health Minister Jain ensured that if the infections come down in the coming two or, three days, the restrictions will definitely be lifted. While on Wednesday, Delhi reported around 25,000 fresh Covid 19 cases in the last 24 hours, the positivity rate has also crossed 25%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jain said that the hospitalization rate has been stabilised and cases have also plateaued, as there are still several beds vacant. Health Minister also confirmed that only people with comorbidities are facing problems that not many people are coming to the hospital for their treatment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With the pace at which Covid-19 is spreading, the city is experiencing a surge in cases too. To curb the spread of the virus the authorities have issued restrictions in the city.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
