He has been listed on the latest UK Treasury Department\u2019s Consolidated List of Financial Sanctions Target under three recorded addresses in Pakistan, where he is reportedly based.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The list includes 21 of Dawood\u2019s aliases including Abdul Aziz, Abdul Hamid, among others.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The frozen properties include a hotel in Warwickshire and residential properties across the Midlands. These properties were also under the radar of Enforcement Directorate. India had sent a related dossier to the UK authorities in 2015. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">India born Dawood Ibrahim is touted to be the \u2018second richest criminal ever\u2019 after Columbian drug lord Pablo Escobar with an estimated worth of USD 6.7 billion (roughly 42,880 crore rupees). He carries rewards totaling USD 25 million on his head for information leading to his arrest.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Dawood, currently understood to be based in Pakistan, is wanted in <a href=\"https:\/\/apnlive.com\/topic\/india\"><strong>India<\/strong><\/a> for being alleged mastermind of 1993 Mumbai serial blasts killing around 260 people. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Earlier this year, some unconfirmed reports had said that the <a href=\"https:\/\/apnlive.com\/topic\/uae\"><strong>UAE<\/strong><\/a> has moved to seize Dawood Ibrahim\u2019s assets worth Rs 15,000 crore on its soil. <\/span>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Dawood features on the latest UK Treasury department\u2019s consolidated List of Financial Sanction Targets with three recorded addresses in Pakistan In a major diplomatic victory for India, the British government has seized the UK properties of India\u2019s most wanted criminal, Dawood Ibrahim.
