Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj S Bommai on Tuesday has ordered the closure of all schools and colleges for the next three days due to protests over the wearing of hijab by Muslim students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The CM announced the development on Twitter and requested all the students, teachers, and management of schools and colleges to maintain peace and harmony in the state. Bommai further informed that he has ordered the closure of all high schools and colleges for the next three days and urged the concerned to cooperate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
