Amid the current panic that has erupted after Russian President Vladimir Putin declared war on Ukraine on Wednesday, various Indians are stuck in the country. In recognition of this, India’s Ministry of External Affairs has extended its control rooms in Delhi, which were previously established. They’ve also been made available 24\/7. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Indian citizens can access control rooms in Delhi through the given email id.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The latest advisory by the Embassy of India in Kyiv was released on Thursday. It informed all Indian nationals in Ukraine that since the Ukraine airspace has been closed, the schedule for special flights stands cancelled. It informed that alternative arrangements are being made for the evacuation of Indian nationals. The embassy of India will convey information as soon as such arrangements are finalised. so that Indian nationals can be relocated to the western part of the country. The advisory urged all Indian nationals to carry their passports and necessary documents with them at all times.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Indian nationals have also been advised to follow the website and social media (Facebook, Twitter and Instagram) posts of the Embassy of India for updates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Indian government is making every effort to evacuate\u00a0its residents from the Ukraine, which\u00a0is now at war. Around 7:45 on Thursday morning, a special UIA flight carrying 182 Indians, largely students, arrived in Delhi from Ukraine. Another Air India aircraft, AI1947, took out to complete the evacuation but was forced to return to Delhi owing to a NOTAM (Notice to Air Missions) issued by the Ukrainian capital of Kyiv.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
