The deceased has been identified as Chandal Jindal who was a student at the Vinnytsia National Pyrogov, Memorial Medical University, Vinnytsia in Ukraine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As per reports, Jindal was ill for quite some time and was admitted to the intensive care unit in Emergency Hospital in Vinnytsia. He hailed from Barnala in Punjab.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On Tuesday, the first Indian casualty was reported wherein a 21-year-old Naveen Shekharappa Gyanagouda was shot dead by the Russian troops while he was out in Kharkiv to buy groceries. India also sent humanitarian relief to Ukraine at the request of Ukrainian authorities. The first shipment of the relief from India to Ukraine was despatched on Tuesday via Poland.
