Prime Minister Narendra Modi made an announcement in the Jan Aushadhi event that the fees of 50 per cent of medical seats in private colleges and universities will be at par and reduced to the fees to fees of medical seats in government colleges. He further said that National Medical Commission has also prepared a guideline for this and this recommendation will be implied from the next session.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

PM Modi said that a few days back, the government has taken another big decision, which will benefit the poor and middle-class children. We have decided that half the seats in private medical colleges will be charged at par with government medical college.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He further said that our government has also controlled the price of more than 800 medicines required for the treatment of diseases like cancer, tuberculosis, diabetes, heart disease. The government has also ensured that the cost of stunting and knee implants remains under control.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

NMC released an official memorandum in which they stated that after extensive consultations, it has been decided that the Fee of 50% seats in Private Medical Colleges and Deemed universities should be at par with the fee in the government medical colleges of that particular State and Union Territory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
