Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in his first decision on day one of his second term has extended the free ration scheme for three months. He took the decision in the first cabinet meeting on Saturday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In his announcement, he said that the free rations scheme will now be extended till June 30, 2022. In this scheme, each family will be given five kilograms of food grain per family per month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He said that they have decided to extend the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana from March 31 till June 30. Yogi made the announcement in the state capital Lucknow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They have taken this decision keeping in mind the poor. He further said that the policies of the central and the state government have to be reached to the people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Yogi Adityanath took oath on Friday as Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister for the second time after breaking the 37-year-record in UP. UIn the grand ceremony, Prime Minister Narendra Modi was there, and Chief Ministers of the BJO ruling states were also present.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Apart from Yogi Adityanath, 52 ministers were sworn in, hand-picked by the BJP leadership with an eye on the 2024 national election.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
