The rates of petrol, diesel have been increased yet again. On Thursday, there has been a hike of over 80 paise a litre each, this has taken the total increase in fuel rates in the last ten days to Rs 6.40 per litre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In Delhi, the petrol rate has crossed the mark of Rs 100 and now it will cost s 101.81 per litre. Earlier, on Wednesday, in Delhi, the rate of petrol was around Rs 101.01 per litre, while diesel rates have gone up from Rs 92.27 per litre to Rs 93.07 per litre on Thursday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In Chennai, petrol will now cost Rs 107.45 after an increase of 76 paise per litre while diesel is priced at Rs 97.52 after being increased by 76 paise per litre today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Read Also<\/strong>: Delhi Police arrest 8 people in Arvind Kejriwal\u2019s home vandalism case<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n In Kolkata, the price of petrol is Rs 111.35 a litre (increased by 83 paise) and diesel is Rs 96.22 per litre (increased by 80 paise).<\/p>\n\n\n\n Whereas, in Mumbai, the petrol and diesel rates have skyrocketed as it currently stands at Rs 116.72 and Rs 100. 94 respectively after prices were increased by 84 paise each.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Notably, this is the ninth increase in prices since the ending of a four-and-half-month long hiatus in the rate revision that took place in March.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Earlier, there was a brief pause in the revision of fuel prices since November 4 last year, and this was broken on March 22, after crude oil prices went upward following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
