Prabhakar Sail, the Narcotics Control Bureau’s witness in the Aryan Khan drug case, died of a heart attack on Saturday morning at his residence in Mumbai, the police said. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
A police official told the reporters that Prabhakar Sail, 37, died of a heart attack at his house in Mahul (Chembur) on Friday evening. He was taken to the Rajawadi Hospital in Mumbai’s Ghatkopar. After a few minutes of treatment, the doctor declared him dead, he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Prabhakar Sail, the personal bodyguard of Kiran Gosavi, another witness in Aryan Khan drug case, died of a heart attack at his residence in Chembur, his advocate Tushar Khandare confirmed to media. His family members do not suspect any foul play, he also said. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Sail had earlier levelled allegations of corruption against Gosavi and NCB zonal director Sameer Wankhede. In an affidavit, the NCB witness had claimed that he had heard Gosavi discuss a Rs 25 crore pay-off deal after the arrest of Aryan Khan in Mumbai drug case on October 3 last year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The NCB had told the court that Sail had turned hostile and his affidavit was still pending before the court.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Along with 19 others, the Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s sonm Aryan Khan was named as a main accused in Mumbai drug case. Of the 20 accused in the case, only 2 are in judicial custody and the rest are out on bail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The NCB were booked them under relevant sections of the Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act for alleged possession, consumption, sale\/purchase of banned drugs, conspiracy and abatement, among others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
