Yati Narsinghanand, the controversial priest is yet again in the headlines and this time the reason is similar to the previous one as he has given a hate speech yet again. Recently, a Hindu mahapanchayat took place on Sunday in Delhi’s Burari ground, where he said that if a Muslim becomes the prime minister of the country then 50 per cent of Hindus will convert in 20 years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Apart from this, journalists also alleged that they were assaulted during the mahapanchayat. The two journalists filed a complaint, and the police have lodged an FIR under sections of molestation, causing hurt and attempted snatching.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Police said that they denied permission for the event but the organisers still went ahead with the Hindu Mahasabha panchayat. It is reported that in the event around 700-800 people were present.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Delhi Police have registered a case against the organisers of Hindu Panchayat Sabha and speakers including Yati Narsinghanand Saraswati, Suresh Chauhanke, Chief Editor of Sudarshan News.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The police have also filed an FIR against the organiser of the event Preet Singh, founder of the Save India Foundation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The second FIR has been filed against the alleged mishandling of journalists who were present at the event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Delhi Police also released a statement, in which they said that a request letter for seeking permission for organizing Hindu Mahapanchayat Sabha was received in North-West District from organizer Preet Singh, President, Save India Foundation, Mangolpuri, Delhi. The request was denied by North-West District police on the ground that the organizer had no permission from the land-owning agency i.e. DDA for organizing this Sabha in Burari Ground.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
