Now the sudden spike in fruit and vegetable prices are definitely pushing up the food bills of people. Recently, the hike in lemon price lemons have crossed the mark of Rs 400 per kg in Delhi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Reports said the lemons are now being sold at a price of Rs 400 per kg in Delhi and Rajasthan\u2019s Jaipur. However, on Wednesday, the lemon was being sold in Jaipur for Rs Rs 350 and in just 3 days the price has been increased by Rs 50 per kg.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As per some online fruit and vegetable delivery applications, in Noida, lemon is available at a price of Rs 428 per kg. While in Delhi it is available at Rs 400 per kg.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meanwhile, a single lemon is being sold in Gujarat somewhere between Rs 18-Rs 25. It is being sold at around Rs 300 per kg in the wholesale market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Apart from lemons, there are many states in the country that are witnessing a sudden spike in vegetable prices as well. Reports said, the main reason behind the rise in the price of fruits and vegetables is a hike in fuel prices, which is making the transportation costlier. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
