Mahant Bajrang Muni, who hogged headlines after he gave rape threats to Muslim women, was granted bail on Sunday morning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Muni got arrested on April 13 after he gave rape threats to Muslim women on the occasion of Hindu New Year in Uttar Pradesh’s Sitapur. After getting bail, he said that he has no regrets as he made those statements to protect Hindu women. As per reports, Muni said that if he needs to go to jail 1000 times for his religion, he will. He continued that he will do anything for his religion, even sacrifice himself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Bajrang Muni gave rape threats while delivering a speech during a Kalash Yatra that crossed Sheesha Waali Masjid in Khairabad town. In his speech, Muni had said that if any Muslim guy pursues Hindu women, he will kidnap and rape Muslim women in public. He also claimed that Rs 28 lakh had been allocated to murder him by Muslims in the area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
His speech sparked social media outrage following which the Uttar Pradesh police filed an FIR against him on April 8 for publicly threatening to kidnap and rape Muslim women. The National Commission for Women (NCW) had also taken cognisance of the video and written to the DGP to take action in the matter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
