A French nun Sister Andr\u00e9, who had received the title of the world’s oldest person by the Guinness World Records (GWR) on Monday, has shared the secret to a long life. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A 118-year-old French nun Sister Andr\u00e9 is also the world’s oldest living nun and the oldest nun ever. She was already the oldest woman in Europe when she turned 117, but after the death of Japanese woman Kane Tanaka, the title was transferred to her.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Born as Lucile Randon on February 11, 1904, Sister Andr\u00e9 has dedicated most of her life to religious service, the statement said. Before becoming a Catholic nun, she looked after children during World War II and then spent 28 years caring for orphans and elderly people at a hospital.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She had been tested Covid positive at the beginning of 2021 but recovered fully within 3 weeks. She was alive during the First World War and the Spanish Flu of 1918.<\/p>\n\n\n\n When she turned 118 earlier this year, the elderly nun received a handwritten birthday note from French President Emmanuel Macron – the 18th French president of her lifetime.
