In a recent update in the Mathura Shahi Eidgah survey case, the court has accepted a petition to survey the Mathura masjid by the court commissioner. It is reported that the hearing will take place on July 1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Earlier, on Thursday, the High Court set a deadline to expedite the matter by 4 months. The HC ruled that all the cases regarding the petitions filed pertaining to the Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi-Shahi Idgah Mosque be fast-tracked and disposed of within 4 months.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Petitioner Manish Yadav said that he is thankful to High Court for this order. Yadav said he is hopeful that the land will be rightfully returned to the Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi temple. He further said the land belonging to the temple that was seized by the power of a sword will be taken back by the power of a pen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The petitioner has demanded that there should be a stretch of 13.37 acres of the land be returned to the temple. The petitioners alleged that the Mughal emperor ordered the construction of the mosque over the 13.37 acres of the land after destroying a part of the temple, which shall be restored.<\/p>\n\n\n\n On Thursday, the Varanasi court pronounced a judgement on the Gyanvapi masjid filming survey and said that the filming should be done before May 17.
