India&#8217;s petrol price, unemployment and communal violence graph looks a lot like Sri Lanka and the Centre should not distract people, Gandhi said in his latest tweet. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Criticizing the state of the economy, Gandhi shared the graphs of the two countries appeared similar when it came to unemployment, fuel prices and communal violence. In his tweet, he has also cited various sources including armed conflict location and event data project, Lok Sabha unstarred question, the CMIE, Petroleum Planning and Analysis Cell and Central Bank of Sri Lanka.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Distracting people won\u2019t change the facts. It peaks around 2020 and dips slightly the next year, the second pair of graph showed the rising in petrol prices from 2017 to 2021 while the third pair of graph rising communal violence in both the countries during the same period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Congress has been continuously targeting the government over various issues like inflation, rising fuel price hike and communal violence.
