In the latest update in the ongoing war between BJP and the Shiv Sena, the Bharatiya Janata Party leader Kirit Somaiya’s wife Prof Dr Medha Kirit Somaiya filed a defamation case against Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut. It is reported that she filed a Rs 100 crore defamation suit against him in Mumbai High Court today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Earlier, Kirit Somaiya shared a video on his Twitter and he wrote that Prof Dr Medha Kirit Somaiya will file a Criminal Defamation Suit\/Complaint at Sewri court Mumbai against Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut for harassment and defamation (IPC 499,500) in the name of Rs 100 Crore Toilet Scam Defamation. It is reported that notice was given and the complaint was filed earlier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The NGO Yuva Pratishthan which they are running and the family is involved they have all the fake bills that were made.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In the complaint, Medha Somaiya wrote that the statements made by the accused to the media are per se defamatory. The statements have been made to malign my character in the eyes of the general public.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Kirit Somaiya’s wife urged the court to issue a process or notice to Mr Raut and begin proceedings against him on the charges of defamation, as defined under sections 499 and 500 of the Indian Penal Code.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
