Three men, inspired by the Hollywood film series Fast and Furious, have been arrested for allegedly stealing over 40 luxurious cars using sophisticated devices. The police said that men stole multiple cars using hi-tech tools, including scanners and GPS jammers. According to police, the trio is part of the famous Ravi Uttam Nagar gang.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The first two accused, Manish Rao and Jagdeep Sharma, are identified as residents of Uttam Nagar, and the third accused, Aas Mohammed, is identified as a native of Meerut. The police arrested the Uttam Nagar residents while attempting to sell a stolen car. According to the police, a Meerut native was allegedly the primary seller. Police said all the three accused have criminal records.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The officials further said the gang would unlock luxury cars with a hacking device and GPS jammers to ensure that the stolen cars could not be tracked. Police said the accused would format the software and install another in order to create new keys for stolen cars. The accused would then park those cars in areas near hospitals and other such places that don’t have CCTV coverage. And then those accused used to sell those cars in Meerut and Rajasthan for expensive deals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
