In another shocking suicide case, another model was found dead at her residence in Kolkata. It is reported that the model was 18-year-old and is identified as Saraswati Das, who was also a make-up artist. The reports are saying that she was found hanging in the room of her residence at Bediadanga in the Kasba area on Sunday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A senior police official said that Saraswati modelled for several small ventures and had received several offers. It is alleged that she hung herself in her room on Saturday night using a dupatta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He also said that it seems that it is a case of suicide but they need to look into other angles too. Saraswati’s grandmother first found her hanging and used the vegetable cutter to cut the rope and bring her down. She rushed the girl to a nearby hospital, which informed us. We are waiting for the post mortem report.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It was also reported that the police are also trying to figure out whether Saraswati had any sort of connection with the three others – models Manjusha Neogi, Bidisha De Majumdar and television actor Pallabi Dey all of them who died due to suspected suicide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The officer also said that the girl it seems hung herself on Saturday night after her mother and aunt left for work. They have seized her mobile phone and are checking her activity in the social networking platforms in connection with their investigation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Officer also said that Saraswati was brought up by her mother and aunt, both of them worked as helping hands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Recently, there has been an increase in suicide cases in Kolkata, Manjusha (26), a model, was found hanging in her room on Friday last week. It is being said that she was upset because of her friend Bidisha’s suicide.
