The 22nd edition of the International Indian Film Academy Awards (IIFA) was held on Yas Island in Dubai. The IIFA Rocks event took place on June 3 and the IIFA Main Awards on June 4. One of the biggest awards nights witnessed the grandeur and lavish event, glitz and glamour, and rocking and scintillating performances from celebrities including, Abhishek Bachchan, Shahid Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan, Ananya Pandey, and Nora Fatehi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Various big celebrities attended the gala event, which was hosted by Salman Khan, Maniesh Paul, and Riteish Deshmukh. Amid this, the winners took home the coveted trophy in various categories. Actor Sidharth Malhotra’s film Shershaah, based on the life of Captain Vikram Batra, grabbed the top spot with three majors in different categories. Vicky Kaushal and Kriti Sanon were awarded Best Actor and Best Actress awards for their performances in Sardar Udham and Mimi respectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
