This year, the theme for International Yoga Day is Yoga for Humanity. This theme was selected after several consultations so that it appropriately portrays how during the peak of the coronavirus pandemic, yoga served humanity in alleviating the sufferings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Prime Minister lead the Yoga day celebrations from Mysuru. In the address, PM Modi said that Yoga is not only for any individual but for the entire humanity. In this way, people will be celebrating the Indian tradition of Surya Namaskar or sun salutation.
