Amarnath Yatra 2022 is an annual Hindu pilgrimage that attracts thousands of Lord Shiva devotees from all over the world. After being suspended for two years due to the coronavirus pandemic, the sacred pilgrimage is all set to begin this year on June 30. The 43-day pilgrimage will conclude on August 11.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The online registration to visit the holy shrine of Barfani Baba has already started. It takes several days to reach the holy shrine to get to the temple because it is not easily accessible by road. So, to make the trip more comfortable for devotees, the Jammu and Kashmir government has started a helicopter service to reach the Amarnath cave from Srinagar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
For the first time, devotees can access the helicopter service directly from Srinagar. Here’s how!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Devotees will start the pilgrimage from Srinagar to Panchtarni, which is the last stop point located at an elevation of 3,500 meters, from where a 6 km trek takes pilgrims to the holy Amarnath cave.
