Women and children were among the dead.<\/p>\n<p>Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) journalist Sayed Abbas Hussaini told Reuters that one reporter had been killed and another wounded. Witnesses have reported that at least two other explosions were followed, including one at the entrance of AVA.<a href=\"http:\/\/s3apnlivemumbai.s3-website.ap-south-1.amazonaws.com\/apnlive\/uploads\/2017\/12\/kabul-2-new.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" td-modal-image aligncenter wp-image-34883 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/s3apnlivemumbai.s3-website.ap-south-1.amazonaws.com\/apnlive\/uploads\/2017\/12\/kabul-2-new.jpg\" alt=\"40 killed in deadly suicide attack on Shia centre in Kabul\" width=\"1064\" height=\"598\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/apnlive.com\/topic\/kabul\">Kabul<\/a> based Tolo News reports that United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA) has also strongly condemned the attack.<\/p>\n<p>In a statement on Twitter, UNAMA said preliminary\u00a0reports indicate high civilian casualty numbers.
